Sailor Jerry’s new Airstream Tour has come along just in time to remind everyone of how important unique, personal engagement with consumers is to maintain an avid following.

With social media enabling conversations between brands and their audiences any time and anywhere, it’s become easier to substitute cyber campaigns for unmediated contact with the people brands are trying to reach. At Unseen Heroes, we see this Airstream Tour as the perfect way to do both. Touring the nation to visit different music festivals, the Sailor Jerry Airstreams have literally brought the brand to life again with six different customized interiors and an emphasis on social media engagement.

A creative fusion between social media and actual personal contact with consumers, the campaign allows fans to meet different bands endorsing the brand and immediately upload pictures with them to different social media sites. If that wasn’t enough, some of the Airstreams even double as mobile tattoo parlors, while others are equipped to serve barbeque…just in case fans need a quick burger or tattoo.

Swamp People Invades NYC

So, if you’re anything like most of us at Unseen Heroes, you were unaware that the premiere of the new season of Swamp People is just around the corner. Thanks to some creative sculptures, plenty of New Yorkers are finding out in a less than conventional way.

Promoters for the show have placed various sculptures of what appears to be an alligator climbing out of a manhole, around the city. (How’s that for a surprise on your way to work?) All leading to a promotional trailer serving authentic Louisiana-inspired cuisine.

We were quite impressed with this effort to reach out to what we’re guessing isn’t the show’s biggest market. Would all of this inspire you to tune in?

Mustaches for Kids

We all thought that at the end of “Movember,” we would be forced to wait another eleven months to see an abundance of mustaches, but Mustaches For Kids Sacramento has brought the look back early this year!

Participants are growing out their mustaches for the entire month of February in order to benefit local classroom projects that need funding. Even more exciting than the mustaches is the fact that donors can choose the specific classroom project that they want to support!

So far, Mustaches for Kids Sacramento has raised over $11,800, and we’re only half way through the month! Well, well… Look what we have here… We’ve taken a few weeks off of blogging to refocus and restructure… And as you can see, 2012 is going to be nothing less than amazing!

This weekend marks the official Sacramento Launch of the Metro PCS x tokidoki phone, and your favorite heroes are back at it again. This time, we are teaming up with Metro PCS and Dragatomi to launch their exclusive tokidoki phone.

The good folks at Dragatomi will be hosting the event which will include FREE swag bags for the first 50 customers who come out. Do we really have to say, “Be sure to show up early?” By now, you should know that there will be a few people who wont get swag bags.
