HOT LUNCH Concert Series
Our Challenge:
Our challenge for the third annual hot lunch series was to increase attendance and diversify the audience to drive regular lunch crowds to the event.
Our Solution:
In order to increase event attendance, Unseen Heroes appealed to a broader demographic including students and families, as well as the average worker. We also leveraged the series’ location in Midtown Sacramento as a way to attract government employees and increased outreach to state offices. In order to peak mass interest, we publicized that the event booked only local bands and adjusted the event over the course of its 14 weeks, according to crowd feedback. Unseen Heroes also used social media contests and free give-aways as incentives to draw people in and cultivated corporate sponsorships to appeal to daily foot traffic.
Their Results:
-Weekly crowds increased by over 30% from the previous year.
-Increased sales at HOT ITALIAN from the previous year’s concert series.
