Modern Italian Film Festival

Our Challenge:
For the Modern Italian Film Festival’s second year, Unseen Heroes strove to cultivate a greater following for the event. Because this the festival caters to a niche community of people who actively seek international films, those keenly interested in Italian culture, or those who know or are learning Italian, we needed to find a way to engage the average person and peak their interest, while retaining the following that the festival had already acquired.

Our Solution:
The event was hosted again in Fremont Park, across the street from HOT ITALIAN. In order to make this a widely appealing community event, we reached out to specific communities throughout the Sacramento region and emphasized this opportunity to learn about Italian culture in a novel way. We also hosted a pre-party at Hot Italian, encouraged people to bike, and provided a bike valet at the event.

Their Results:
-1200 attendees over the course of the festival.
-Increased business at HOT ITALIAN from the previous year’s event by 12%.
-Wrap-up video posted after the event was featured on numerous regional blogs.
